Last night after breaking fast ,my husband played Diana Ross' s album for our girls.
How marvelous it was to be with my youngest and Diana Ross in our living room.
The rain had stopped and it was dark outside. Not a soul except us.We sang and sang .
Time passed us by. And brought back memories ,when I was 9 ,singing the same way with my aunt in her room.
Then through the screeching voice of my daughter , suddenly I had my moment of truth.
Diana was saying,"Do you know where you re going to'?Why must we wait so long "?And Do you get what you re hoping for?"...

I must have . I ve had a colorful 40 years.
Tho' sometimes I still wish some of the mistakes I've made can be erased .
But there's nowhere I want to go anymore .I'm just thankful where I am
With all the love from you ,its been an incredible 40.

Hey, sounds like you had quite a moment there! I was quite shocked when I turned thirty. I had somehow made myself believe that i will always be in my twenties. And thirties came as a bit of a rude awakening. But once past that, i started living, like really living it up!
I guess 40 won't be bad. I do hope it would be great. you sound happy :)
